These statement earrings feature my hand-painted interpretation of the beautiful wood nymph moth, with soft cream and golden wings, warm brown edging, and delicate hand-painted detail.
Each moth begins as a miniature painting. The wings are individually hand painted with acrylic paint on canvas, carefully hand cut, sealed in resin for protection and shine, and then assembled by hand into a one-of-a-kind pair of earrings.
This pair is accented with natural amazonite stone and finished with delicate gold-tone wirework, adding an earthy, organic touch that complements the warm tones of the moth. At approximately 4 inches long, these earrings make a lovely statement while remaining lightweight and easy to wear.
Because every moth is painted and cut by hand, each pair will have its own subtle variations—making every set a small wearable work of art.
