These statement earrings feature my hand-painted interpretation of the beautiful luna moth, with its soft green wings, delicate markings, and graceful trailing shape.
Each moth begins as a miniature painting. The wings are individually hand painted with acrylic paint on canvas, carefully hand cut, sealed in resin for protection and shine, and then assembled by hand into a one-of-a-kind pair of earrings.
This smaller luna moth design is finished with delicate accent beads and gold-tone wirework, adding a subtle touch of movement and shimmer beneath the wing. At approximately 4 inches long, these earrings make a lovely statement while remaining lightweight and easy to wear.
