These statement earrings feature my hand-painted interpretation of the charming rosy maple moth, with its soft pink wings, buttery yellow accents, and delicate hand-painted details.
Each moth begins as a miniature painting. The wings are individually hand painted with acrylic paint on canvas, carefully hand cut, sealed in resin for protection and shine, and then assembled by hand into a one-of-a-kind pair of earrings.
This pair is finished with coordinating accent beads and delicate gold-tone wirework, adding a little movement and a soft finishing touch beneath the wing. At approximately 3 inches long, these earrings make a playful statement while remaining lightweight and easy to wear.
