These statement earrings feature my hand-painted interpretation of the beloved monarch butterfly, with its vivid orange wings, deep black outlines, and delicate white markings.
Each butterfly begins as a miniature painting. The wings are individually hand painted with acrylic paint on canvas, carefully hand cut, sealed in resin for protection and shine, and then assembled by hand into a one-of-a-kind pair of earrings.
This pair is finished with a delicate accent bead and gold-tone wirework, adding just a touch of movement beneath the wing. At approximately 4.5 inches long, these earrings make a striking statement while remaining lightweight enough for comfortable wear.
