These statement earrings feature my hand-painted interpretation of the beautiful luna moth, with its soft green wings, delicate markings, and graceful, trailing shape. Paired with a small shell moon accent, they feel dreamy, whimsical, and a little otherworldly.
Each moth begins as a miniature painting. The wings are individually hand painted with acrylic paint on canvas, carefully hand cut, sealed in resin for protection and shine, and then assembled by hand into a one-of-a-kind pair of earrings.
The shell moon adds a soft celestial touch, while the delicate wirework and bead accents complete the design with just enough detail to let the painted moth remain the star of the piece.
