18×24” ORIGINAL Art by Sarah Clostio
- Acrylic Art on canvas using professional grade acrylic paint.
- Artist signature on front and back.
- Finished with a satin varnish to protect from UV rays and elements.
Feminine rage is not destruction.
It is focus.
It is protection.
It is creation.
This painting was born from a deep well of righteous anger and love for the world we’re trying to protect.
Inspired by Artemis (and her Roman counterpart Diana), this piece honors a goddess who embodies untamed nature, fierce independence, and unwavering protection. Artemis is a huntress guided by the moon....precise, solitary, and unyielding in her devotion to justice. Her rage is focused. Sacred. A force that defends the vulnerable and refuses to conform.
These deer symbolize that duality: gentleness paired with strength, beauty paired with vigilance. Like Artemis herself, they are watchful. Showing you softness and strength are not opposites, they coexist.
This piece is my way of saying:
We are allowed to be angry.
We are allowed to protect.
We are allowed to turn rage into reverence.
